A foreign customer wants to pay me with a letter of credit. I won't accept it because (choose one):
A. My bank won't or can't accept them, or has outrageous collateral requirements.
B. I've never accepted one, and I haven't a clue what to do, and I'm suspicious anyway.
C. I tried accepting one once, something went wrong, and I lost money and it was a huge headache.
D. Foreigners buy stuff? Who knew?
E. I've got limited access to finance, but it sure would be nice if I could make some new sales.
If you are missing export sales for any of the above reasons, we can probably help. Sometimes you need a private finance company to handle things for you. Orders can be financed against letters of credit. You just need to rely on the experience and finance capability of folks who are already doing exactly what you need. We can take the preparatory steps necessary for smooth letter of credit finance and negotiation.
Often we can get your supplier paid just on the strength of the incoming letter of credit. It isn't rocket science. Maybe it is finance science, but it can be done, and is done.
We'd be delighted to help you increase your sales capabilities. Let us know what you need to do in the form below, and we'll get to work.
